Rewards

Every day my students start of with 5 smiley faces. If they fail to follow our class rules after a warning, they lose a smiley face. At the end of the day, we count the faces and they earn a trip to the treasure box. Yes, it is a reward for what they should do but as adults, we get a reward for what we should do in the form of a paycheck, so my students earn their “pay” for behaving well in school.

So I want to introduce the new reward system here. If you look on the left corner of the blog, you will see a reward sticker. You can earn points for visiting the site daily, tweeting, commenting on posts, liking posts, and tweeting posts. Collect enough points to redeem items like amazon gift codes, groupon gift cards etc. Click on the reward sticker and you’ll be able to sign up, check your points and look at the rewards. So what are you waiting for?
